An exceptional vintage sparkling wine, Chapel Down Grand Reserve 2017 is a blend of the three great sparkling wine grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The wine is made from the best fraction of juice and is aged for up to five years in bottle before release. This special release, from the 2017 vintage, is rich and complex, with red apple, wild strawberry and buttery pastry on the nose. On the palate there’s citrus and spice, leading to a delicate, elegant finish.
This wine is great as an aperitif or an ideal accompaniment to grilled fish or risotto.
